Final Year Project

A research project with the purpose of investigating the perceived data privacy and ethical concerns that arise, due to the rapid development of geo location enabled technologies. This research described how students react to the advancement in location aware technology. The results of the survey included significant statistical analysis using SPSS to test my hypotheses. The findings of my research were formally presented to four senior lecturers. My final year project was also nominated for an award in conjunction with Sun Life Financials. The full research project can be viewed in the link below.                            Grade - 72% Here is a link to the full thesis

Database Administration Project Report

This is a report that contains all the work that I’ve done throughout the semester in the database administration module. It will begin by describing the installation process, followed by the exploration of Oracle 11g from SQL Plus and from SQL developer. I will then look at the “File Management” section, followed by the “Memory Structures” section. Oracle processes will then be looked at in detail, this being made up of server, background and slave processes. The final sections of this document will look at “locking and latching”, “concurrency and multi-versioning” and transactions. The full report can be viewed below. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hQcLsz5NnCbvu8Zl9EgXoHK_RZUqGiaD/view?usp=sharing
